The client

The home of Tasmanian tennis since 1964.

Domain Tennis Centre is a member-based club on the Queens Domain, five minutes from the Hobart CBD. It looks after 18 courts and a 2,500-seat stadium, and hosts the Hobart International each January.

More than 600 members play there, from juniors picking up a racquet for the first time to pennant teams and players representing the state.

The project

What needed solving, and what we built.

Domain Tennis Centre runs a lot at once: memberships, coaching from Hot Shots to adult programs, social tennis, pennants, pickleball, court bookings and venue hire, across 18 courts. The website has to serve all of it, for members, for parents looking for lessons and for anyone who just wants a hit.

We designed and built the whole site. Membership, coaching, competitions and the club itself each have their own section, every coaching program has a weekly timetable, and the contact page sends each enquiry to the person who looks after that part of the club. Court bookings and member login hand off to the club’s online booking system.
